Wedding Ceremonies

Your Love Story, Your Way

No two couples are the same, so why should two wedding ceremonies be? I'll start by getting to know you: how you met, what makes you laugh, the people and experiences that have shaped you and what you love (and occasionally drive each other mad!) about one another. Through our conversations and my Nearly Weds Questionnaire, I'll turn all those details into a completely bespoke ceremony that sounds and feels like you.

I can help with vows, readings, music and symbolic elements, involve the people - and pets - who matter to you, and work alongside your venue and suppliers so that everything flows beautifully. And because I only book one ceremony per day, there's no clock-watching or rushing off to the next couple. This is your day and you have my full attention.

So what does a Humanist wedding actually look like? The simple answer is, whatever you want it to look like! It can have all the romance and tradition of a conventional wedding - walking down the aisle, exchanging vows and rings, readings and music - without being bound by a prescribed religious script. Or we can throw out the rulebook completely. Handfasting? Absolutely. Your dog as ring bearer? I'm already excited. Two people in a garden or 200 in a fabulous hotel? Both are weddings worth celebrating. Humanist weddings are about love, commitment and two people choosing one another, so we'll create something heartfelt, joyful and meaningful that leaves your guests thinking: “That was so completely them.”
